Capt. Karl Soares

Karl has been involved in sea-freight all his working life coming ashore in 1999 to run a Shipping Agency and then a Shipbroking Company, before joining Wagner Corporation in 2014.

His particular interest in the history and evolution of maritime commerce, with particular emphasis on Seapower States and their impacts, ensures that he keeps a keen eye on trade flows and patterns. Karl sees particular opportunities in the operation of the Wharf, which offers seamless and efficient integration into the supply chain for a variety of maritime imports and exports.
