Regional Trade Distribution Centre

The sky’s the limit for Queensland’s primary producers, with the opening of the $10 million Regional Trade Distribution Centre at Toowoomba’s Wellcamp airport.

Queensland's agricultural industries make a vital contribution to the lives of Queenslanders with the sector delivering almost $20 billion to the economy, supporting more than 300,000 jobs.

The RTDC is streamlining the paddock-to-freight process for graziers and growers throughout the Toowoomba and Downs regions.

Premium Queensland fresh food such as prime beef, fruit and vegetables can now be airfreighted into markets all over the world faster and fresher than ever before.

Wagner Corporation is driving the next phase of economic growth by unlocking private sector investment, which is the critical element to the Queensland economy.

Queensland exports support one in five Queensland jobs — 1 in 4 in the regions — with about 40 per cent of the 7,473 goods exports based in regional Queensland.

This will supercharge rapid airfreight access for agricultural producers,” said Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk. “It means graziers and growers will have easier access to export markets and that means jobs.

    • a 755m² Administration Building, and

    • 23 x 6 bedroom/4 bathroom duplexes.

GDTC

Green Distillation Technologies has achieved an Australian world technological breakthrough by effectively and profitably recycling end of life car and truck tyres (ELTs) into saleable commodities of oil, carbon and steel.

  • GDT is an unlisted Australian public company formed to solve the problem of dealing with old tyres.

  • GDT has developed innovative technology that converts tyres back into carbon, oil and steel, without producing emissions.

  • One GDT tyre recycling plant can process about 685,000 tyres per year (assuming an average mix of car and truck tyres). This equates to approximately 19,000 tons of recycled car tyres, recycled into oil, carbon and steel.
